Frequently asked questions

Can a brand-new business with no sales history apply?

Yes, new businesses can apply. Applications from new businesses are reviewed like any other, and approval isn’t guaranteed. It helps to have a clear description of your business and a realistic estimate of your sales.

Do I need to be incorporated?

Not necessarily. Requirements depend on your business structure. Tell Concept Payments whether you’re a sole proprietor, partnership or corporation, and they’ll explain what’s needed.

I don’t know my monthly sales yet. Is that a problem?

No. A reasonable estimate is fine for a new business. You can talk through your expectations with Concept Payments and adjust your setup as your business grows.

Should I start in store, online, or both?

That depends on how your customers will buy from you. Concept Payments helps merchants accept payments in store, online and over the phone, and can explain the options for each.

How much will it cost?

Pricing depends on your business and how you’ll take payments. Concept Payments offers competitive rates and explains the fees up front. We don’t list rates here because they vary by business.
